Yesterday saw two major news events impacting the Black community in America. Earlier in the day, authorities announced that the police officers involved in the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha last summer will not face any criminal charges.
But yesterday was also a monumental day in Georgia, where the organizing work of Stacey Abrams and other Black women resulted in Democratic victories for the two Senate seats in the runoff race.
Today, Wednesday host Ali Muldrow discusses these pivotal news stories with Sabrina Madison, founder of The Progress Center for Black Women, and Representative David Bowen, who represents District 10 in the Wisconsin State Assembly.
