For the past couple of weeks, the internet find itself embroiled in this debate: are there more wheels than doors in the world? This question went viral on Tiktok, with people defending the side they picked and others analyzing the many scenarios which could further complicate the debate. This trend all started when Ryan Nixon, a man from New Zealand posted a the wheels vs. doors poll on Twitter. At first, he posted this poll just for fun, but the poll has now since received 220,000 votes and sparked a debate all over the world. While this debate seems to be trivial, this isn’t the first time the internet has had a heated discussion over something entirely unimportant. This week, we’ll be exploring why the internet loves a good debate.
