Drive-in theaters were all the buzz in the 50s and 60s. This type of movie theater was extremely popular in rural areas, offering a large space where people could drive up, park, and just watch movies in the big outdoors. Drive-in movies have been on the decline, but it has perhaps regained some of their popularity over the pandemic. This week, we’ll be talking about how drive-in theaters came to be, and how they managed to revive their business during the pandemic.
