New social media platforms are emerging every day. But only a few apps can become popular, and even fewer can last for more than a couple of years. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter are probably the notable ones that the majority of people know of. However, there were many social media platforms that once gave these platforms a run for their money but ultimately lost the competition.
