FreeJoin 702WI on Friday, February 15th at 7pm for a discussion and reading with authors Renée Watson and Ellen Hagan about their new book Watch Us Rise, a YA feminist anthem about raising your voice.
The authors will talk about their collaboration on the novel and their work as activists and educators, and how to bring that into the classroom. A book signing will follow. The event is free and open to the public, with an optional $5 donation to support the Cooperative Children’s Book Center!
