LunART Festival: That’s What She Said – Anthology

Fri June 29, 2018 @ 9:30 pm - 11:00 pm

Free

LunART Festival is excited to present “That’s What She Said,” a show like no other in Madison!!!

That’s What She Said is a story-share production in which local women share real stories about their fears, their joys, their lives. Created in 2014, it is produced by The Bricks Theatre (Madison, WI) and directed by Molly Vanderlin (Owner/Producer, The Bricks Theatre). It has received great reviews, and after fifteen shows, The Bricks Theatre has decided it might have a great idea!

FREE EVENT!

Performers:

Autumn Shiley has continued to be inspired by the women of Madison and is honored to be a part of this festival. She is a theatre artist and massage therapist. Autumn craves sunflowers. EVERYWHERE. The most complex and fulfilling role that she has played has been the role of mother to her two joyful boys, Will and Danny. Matt, I love you.

Margaret Leaf is the Midwest’s Biggest Asshole. She is extremely grateful to be part of this show and is in awe of the fact that Molly just made up her bio. Truly, who does that?

Elizabeth Vermedahl has never liked rollercoasters, yet she has enjoyed this opportunity to get that adrenaline rush she’s missed out on most of her life. If she pukes, this statement should be revised. Much love, gratitude, and silliness to Bob, Amelia, and Ezra!

Molly Vanderlin is a Producer/Owner of The Bricks Theatre. She has been involved with Madison theater, wearing different types of hats, for over 20 years. She is grateful to have so many amazing women in her life and feels lucky to be able to be a part of this amazing Festival in its inaugural year!! Thank you for being here tonight.

Deborah Hearst is a local actor and story teller. Thank you to the LunArts Festival for creating a place where vulnerability and expression become strength. And thank you to Whitney Derendinger for bravely shining those big blue eyes in her direction.
