Learn how to move from first draft to finished product with Chloe Benjamin, author of the acclaimed novels The Anatomy of Dreams and The Immortalists, who returns to 702WI for this special daylong workshop!

The morning session will focus on revising a manuscript and finding a literary agent. After a break for lunch, you’ll explore the publication process—from editorial work to marketing, publicity, sales and social media engagement—and 702WI staff will discuss how authors can collaborate with indie bookstores and book groups to reach readers.

Though the emphasis will be on fiction, Chloe will speak to the process for nonfiction, and much of the information will apply to both genres. The class is perfect for writers who are working on a manuscript, have one ready to submit, or are curious about the process.

The workshop runs Sunday, March 10th, from 9am-4pm. Registration is $400 and places are limited. Breakfast foods, drinks, and afternoon snacks are included. Participants will have an hour break to enjoy lunch on their own.
