The Bubbler at Madison Public Library, Madison Metropolitan School District, and the Foundation for Madison Public Schools have teamed up to support maker education in our schools! Brian Standing is joined in the studio by Rebecca Millerjohn, Youth Services Librarian, Madison Public Library – Sequoya and Jennifer Milne-Carroll, Library Media Technology Specialist, Whitehorse Middle School.
Each school is looking for support from community members like you to get the word out. They have created a fundraising campaign with the support of the Foundation for Madison Public Schools that will help fund these innovative new projects. You can help your school reach their fundraising goal by sharing their story and information about their Making Spaces initiative and encouraging those in your networks to make a donation to support maker education in Madison schools. Schools have until December 1st to meet their individual fundraising goal. With the support of the Madison community, the Bubbler will continue to support the Making Spaces project with 5-7 new schools included in the 2017-2018 school year.
