Monday host Patty Peltekos speaks with the candidates for the Dane County Supervisory Board, District 11 — Al Matano, Nancy Bogue and Kelly Danner. Among the issues covered are the controversial Dane County Jail, transportation, bridging the rural-urban divide, and affordable housing.
EDIT: Nancy Bogue would like to clarify her answer concerning rural transportation.
“When I was interviewed about rural transportation issues on the show [yesterday], I made a mistake with my answer that didn’t take into account supervisory boundaries and roles. I do fully understand the way the board is organized but was so intent on caring about the issue that I didn’t think well on my feet. For anyone who heard me, you may have thought I’d suddenly developed “mad cow” brain disease!
I genuinely hope that the listeners, interviewer Patty and my co-runners, Al and Kelly, heard more clearly than my error, my sincere concern and desire to help our rural friends with their transportation needs. Thank you.”
