A consumer advocacy group is asking state regulators to stop the construction of a 102 mile long power line that would run from Dane County into the state of Iowa.
The call comes from the Citizen’s Utility Board, who say that after a judge ruled last month that the line cannot run through a national wildlife refuge on the Mississippi river, the line can no longer be completed.
To get a fuller view of Citizens Utility Board’s position , WORT Producer Nate Wegehaupt spoke with the Executive Director of the non profit, Tom Content.
