On Monday movie star Shaileen Woodley and Madison Alder Rebecca Kemble were arrested in Standing Rock, North Dakota after attending a protest against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. On Monday morning a federal court ruled against the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe’s emergency injunction request to stop construction. Four camps full of demonstrators in Standing Rock have grown to over 3,000 people. Tribe leaders say the pipeline threatens the local water supply and nearby scared burial grounds. Kemble was released from jail Tuesday afternoon. WORT Producer Alejandro Alonso Galva reached her by phone in ND.
