Today we’re joined by community organizer and abolitionist Nikkita Oliver to discuss her work and the situation on-the-ground in Seattle, including the Capitol Hill Organized Protest (CHOP), an occupation protest and self-declared autonomous zone that has been receiving national attention.
Nikkita Oliver is a Seattle-based creative, community organizer, abolitionist, educator, and attorney. She is the co-executive director of Creative Justice, an arts-based alternative to incarceration and a healing engaged youth-led community-based program.
