MADISON (WORT) — Many public employees were surprised to learn that Dane County Executive Joe Parisi will be terminating their union contracts for 2015 and 2016. The contracts were negotiated while Gov. Scott Walker’s union-curbing Act 10 was held up on legal appeal. But following the Wisconsin Supreme Court’s ruling on Act 10 in August, Parisi no longer thinks the contracts will stand up in court. Dylan Brogan reports.
