Jake Johnston is a senior research associate at the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington, D.C., where his research has focused predominantly on economic policy in Latin America, the International Monetary Fund, and U.S. foreign policy.
Anna Simonton is an independent journalist based in Atlanta and is an editor for Scalawag magazine. She is co-author, with Shani Robinson, of None of the Above: The Untold Story of the Atlanta Public Schools Cheating Scandal, Corporate Greed, and the Criminalization of Educators (Beacon Press, 2019).
