The spring election is just a few months away. Every seat on Madison’s Common Council will be up for grabs. But some familiar names won’t be on the ballot.
Incumbent alder Grant Foster, who has served on the council for two terms, is another alder who plans not to run again this spring. Foster represents District 15, on Madison’s far east side. His district butts up right next to Monona.
Alder Foster spoke with WORT Producer Nate Wegehaupt to reflect on his time as alder.
