For today’s Meet the Candidates show, Wednesday host Carousel Bayrd speaks with two candidates running for Wisconsin State Assembly District 46.
Melissa Ratcliff currently serves on the Dane County Board of Supervisors, where she chairs the Area Agency on Aging (AAA) Board and the Dane County Broadband Task Force. She has also served on the Cottage Grove Village Board since 2018, where her focus has been housing, building a public library, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Andrew Hysell is a resident of Sun Prairie who has worked in public policy for over twenty years. Previously, he worked as an intern and legislative aide for Democrats in the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Wisconsin Senate. His platform includes progressive and bipartisan issues including legalizing cannabis, restoring collective bargaining rights, and investing in education.
