Esty Dinur speaks with Terry Chapin, Professor of Ecology at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He is one of thirty-seven Arctic wildlife scientists objecting to drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in an open letter to Senator Lisa Murkowski (AKs) and Maria Cantwell (Washington). The proposed drilling is part of the GOP tax plan.
We also hear from Shaun Chapoose, a leader of the Ute Indian Tribe. The Ute are one of five tribes suing President Trump and the Departments of Agriculture and the Interior over the decision to shrink Bears Ears National Monument.
