On Friday July 6th, Esty Dinur interviewed a panel of experts on recent severe weather in Wisconsin and the nation and the possible connection between these events and global climate change. Esty talked with Steve Vavrus, Senior Scientist for the Nelson Institute Center for Climatic Research, Jon Martin, Professor of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at UW-Madison, and Dick Smith from the Climate Change Lobby.
The panel of experts discussed the recent drought in Southern Wisconsin which was recently upgraded to “severe.” With such abnormal droughts and heat waves scorching the nation and Wisconsin, host Esty Dinur and the panel discussed the possible connection between observed severe weather and climate
