Governor Tony Evers again pushed for Republicans to support gun control legislation today. The call comes as Democratic legislators circulate a bill to create what’s called an extreme risk protection order, also known as a red flag law. The bill would let law enforcement remove guns from people who have been found to be a risk to themselves or others. Top Republican leaders remain opposed to gun control legislation put forth by Democratic lawmakers. They say the legislation poses a threat to the second amendment rights of citizens and due process of the law. Chali Pittman reports.
