(WORT) — Exact Sciences is ditching a plan to develop a new headquarters downtown as part of the City of Madison’s Judge Doyle Square project.
Just a few weeks ago, the controversial $200 million public-private development deal was approved by city alders during a marathon meeting of the Madison Common Council.
Instead of relocating downtown, Exact Sciences announced a plan to expand at the company’s current site in University Research Park on Madison’s west side.
Dylan Brogan has the details.
