Max Rameau was a founding member of Take Back the Land, an organization that works to block evictions and help rehouse homeless people in foreclosed homes.
DeRay McKesson is a civil rights activist and member of We the Protesters. McKesson is the former Senior Director of Human Capital with Minneapolis Public Schools and is a Teach For America alum. His documenting of the Ferguson events through social media have gained national attention. He is the founder and co-editor of the Ferguson Protester Newsletter.
M Adams is a prominent member of Young Gifted and Black Coalition and the co-director of Freedom Inc, an organization in Madison that works end violence against people of color, women, those that non-traditionally gender identify, and our youth, to promote healthy lifestyle.
