This month the UW Board of Regents approved a resolution that allows UW students who have “dismiss[ed] the expressive rights of others” to be suspended after having done so twice, and expelled after having done so three times.
And — today the white supremacist Richard Spencer is scheduled to speak on the University of Florida campus in Gainesville. That’s the flagship campus of the state system in Florida – and protests are expected.

Our guests are Dr. Michael Wagner, Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication at UW Madison, and Dr. Howard Schweber, Professor of Political Science and an affiliate faculty member at the Law School at UW Madison.
