Tomorrow is the “Madison Marimba Quartet – Our Gift to You” concert, with percussionists playing marimbas in a sizzling wintery concert celebration! Children with parents who bring sleigh bells will be invited on stage to join the fun for one number. Sunday is a UW Lakeshore Nature ‘Winter Preserves’ walk. All are welcome to join fellow nature lovers to look at how some of summer’s beauty and bounty is preserved in plants and trees in winter. Learn about the many kinds of food available in a healthy natural area for birds and creatures that know how to cache food or have special adaptations to obtain it.
