Tonight is “Groove and Glide!” Skate under the lights with fun music and games! The warming house and concessions will be open, and skate rentals will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tomorrow night is a First Bear Moon Night Walk at the UW Arboretum. This moon is named for the birth of bear cubs in winter dens—a reminder that life continues in the coldest months. Sunday afternoon is a Phenology Walk at the UW Arboretum. Aldo Leopold and his graduate students kept journals to record the timing of natural events, or the study of phenology.
