Sunday, A Room of One’s Own bookstore hosts the Wisconsin Fellowship of Poets 2016 Calendar Reading. Over forty-five Madison area poets will read poems from the calendar. Sunday, stroll through Warner Park with school naturalist Julie Melton to learn the history of the prairies that made Wisconsin the Badger State, and the woodlands where the Red Fox makes its den. This free, family-friendly event is Sunday from 1:30 to 3pm at Warner Park, 2930 North Sherman Avenue. No registration is required. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather and hiking.
