As grim news continues for live music venues everywhere, classical musicians around Madison continue to offer many flavors of online concerts for their fans.
On Friday, June 12th at 7:00 pm, the Madison Classical Guitar Society will hold a virtual showcase on its public Facebook page, in which members and friends will share guitar music from their home. Contact Tom Nauman to get on the Program.
The following day, Saturday June 13th at 7:00 pm, electric bass wizard Joshua Cohen will stream a live concert from his basement (natch!), also via Facebook.
Although the Bach Dancing and Dynamite Society’s live program for 2020 has been postponed to 2021, fans of the Festival can get special “desk concerts” by their favorite BDDS artists in their email during the month of June. Just contact the festival’s organizers to get on the list.
And not to be outdone, the Madison Flute Club will be posting video performances to its Facebook page starting the week of June 21st.
