It only takes two ingredients that, if you are like me, you can almost always remember to have around in your house—Gin and grapefruit juice.
Ingredients
2 Ounces Gin (I recommend Death’s Door or Tanqueray for this recipe)
4 Ounces Grapefruit Juice
Ice
Rosemary Sprigs
Directions
Fill a tumbler with ice. In a shaker or a different glass/metal container mix the gin with the grapefruit juice. Pour gin & juice mixture over the ice. Serve with a sprig of rosemary as the stirrer.
Additional Modifications
If you want to get fancy, you could make this like a grapefruit gin and tonic and add 1½ ounces of tonic to the recipe.
Or if you want to make it into a fizz, add the whites from one large egg to the shaker and shake the gin, juice and egg whites for 1 minute or until frothy. Serve over ice and garnish with a wedge of a grapefruit or with a sprig of rosemary.
