The Wisconsin Poor People’s Campaign has been following Martin Luther King’s pivot from Civil Rights to combatting militarism, supporting unions, and building society from the bottom up to raise everybody. Activists Natalia Fajardo and Bruce Grau talk about the group’s opposition to the $750 billion Pentagon budget and $12 billion F-35 fighter jet program as examples of government spending which could be better used to fight poverty and launch a Third Reconstruction to support society.
