Get a babysitter for the shorties and gas up the wagon—the third WORT Record Riot, the largest all vinyl sale in Dane County, will be Saturday, March 26, 12–3:30 pm, at the High Noon Saloon. This event is free and open to record collectors of all ages!
The WORT Record Riot is both a necessity (our building is far too small to hold more records) and a boon to those who appreciate the warm sound of analog. As usual, we’ve invited other record vendors and sellers to come and sell alongside us.
Our two Record Riots in 2015 were wildly successful, but you won’t be picking through leftovers. We constantly cull records that are no longer being played to make room in the record library for new vinyl. In addition, hundreds of records of every genre imaginable are donated to WORT every year which we inspect and put out in our sale.
If you have vinyl in good condition to donate, WORT would love to have it! Please contact Aaron Scholz, musicass@wortfm.org, with any questions about donating or selling your vinyl, or about the Record Riot in general. We are happy to provide a receipt for your donation for tax purposes. And we hope to see you Saturday at the High Noon Saloon!
