KBBF is the first bilingual public radio station in the United States, and they serve the people of 18 counties in the North Bay of San Francisco, California. They are the only radio station in the area providing continuous live information about the October wildfires in Spanish.
Alicia Sanchez is the president of the BBFI/KBBF board of directors. She has been involved with KBBF since 1986.
