A free Re-entry Service Fair for those reentering our community after being incarcerated will be held today from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Madison Urban Ministry office, 2115 South Park Street. Today’s session will address Housing and Employment options and resources. Anyone 18 or older is welcome to attend. Refreshments provided. Contact Journey Home staff at 256-0906 for information.
A free workshop to help gardeners avoid beginner mistakes is scheduled for this evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Pinney Library, 204 Cottage Grove Road. Megan Cain will share the top 10 mistakes she’s made in her gardens, so you can avoid them in your own. Light refreshments will be provided by the Allis Heritage Community Garden committee.
