Join naturalist Brian Schneider for a free, family-friendly walk from the Aldo Leopold Nature Center at 330 Femrite Drive into beautiful Edna Taylor Conservation Park from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 28th. The public is invited to the free “Madison Print and Resist Festival 2018” celebrating political print media and experimental publications on Saturday, April 28th, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. Join in workshops related to the world of art, do-it-yourself culture, and political action. The event will feature work from subversively creative print and media artists, and writers ready to share their work with the Madison area community. All ages welcome! All are invited to an Interfaith March for Peace and Justice on Sunday, April 29th, at the Catholic Multicultural Center, 1862 Beld Street. The march kicks-off at 3:30 p.m. and is part of a nation-wide event celebrating diversity, affirming religious freedom and condemning all acts of violence and harassment against people based on race, color, beliefs, or place of origin.
