A free screening of the film “Standing Rock: Take Me From The River” is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. this evening at the First Unitarian Society of Madison, 900 University Bay. Learn to birdwatch at a free workshop on Sunday, April 8th from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at Elver Park, 1250 McKenna Boulevard. An experienced birder will provide hands-on instruction on how to use binoculars, identify common birds, what migration is and why birds do it, best birdwatching times and locations and more. A limited number of binoculars will be available for use, so please bring your own binoculars if possible. Please pre-register by phoning 266-4711.
