Enjoy a free, guided family-friendly tour of the Cherokee Marsh Conservation Park North Unit this evening from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Madison’s largest conservation park, the Cherokee Marsh Park protects a variety of natural communities, ranging from upland forest to wet prairies and riverine marsh. Keep losing your keys? Forget why you walked into a room? If your memory isn’t quite what it used to be, you can take advantage of a free memory screening session on Thursday, August 15th from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Meadowridge Library, 5740 Raymond Road. The confidential memory evaluation is offered by the Aging and Disability Resource Center. Pre-register today by calling 512-0000.
All are invited to an 89.9 Social Club Pop-up Party on Thursday, August 15th from 10 p.m until midnight at The Alchemy Cafe, 1980 Atwood Avenue. The Alchemy Cafe serves farm-to-table pub food with vegetarian and vegan options. The Pop-Up party will feature DJ Kayla Kush, host for WORT’s 2 DUB reggae show broadcast on Saturday night.
