A free wire sculpture workshop for kids ages 5 to 12 will be offered from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 15th at the Sequoya Library, 4340 Tokay Boulevard. Kids will learn how to bend, twist, crimp and wrap wire to create free standing sculptures. For information, phone 266-6385.
Ring in the season at a free screening of Disney’s holiday film “Winnie the Pooh” from 2 to 4 p.m on Saturday, December 15th, at Madison’s Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. The Urban League of Greater Madison is seeking volunteers to support middle school youth through tutoring and academic coaching in math and literacy. If you can contribute one hour per week, openings are available at various times to fit your schedule.
