Take in a free presentation on “Mapping the Mounds” by copper culture researcher Monette Bebow-Reinhard on Saturday, December 16th from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Goodman Library, 2222 South Park Street. The session will describe archaic copper artifacts found in Wisconsin mounds and what they tell us about our early past. Presented as part of the Ancient Earthworks Society Lecture Series. All are invited to visit the Hanukkah Winter Farmers Market from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, December 17th at Temple Beth El, 2702 Arbor Drive. Many vendors will be offering local fair trade products with 10% of proceeds going to support the Harvest of Hope fund that assists Wisconsin farm families in need.
