All are invited to a free screening of the documentary, “American Revolutionary – The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs”, tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Wilmar Center, 953 Jenifer Street. Boggs was an admired Detroit activist, writer, and philosopher whose vision of modern-day revolution may surprise you. Take a break from the daily stresses of your workday with a free yoga session from noon to 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 7th, at the the Monona Terrace, One John Nolen Drive. The Respite Center is a safe place for kids, ages birth to fourteen, whose families are under stress or in crisis. They are in need of volunteers to play with kids four hours a week. Training is required. Call 244-5730 for details.
W-O-R-T is looking for a weekly volunteer receptionist on Tuesdays from 2 to 4:15 p.m. We are also looking for fill-in receptionists with availability on weekdays between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. AND who have email access.
