A gentle exercise session for older adults will be offered tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22nd, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Goodman Community Center, 149 Waubesa Street. The exercise and relaxation program is designed for those with arthritis, joint pain or any other kind of stiffness that limits movement. There is a $2.00 suggested donation. All are invited to an 89.9 Social Club Pop-Up Party tomorrow, Tuesday, October 22nd, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., at The Nutty Bar in the Bandung Indonesian Restaurant, 600 Williamson Street. An Open Mic session will kick-off at 7 p.m. The 89.9 Social Club provides an opportunity for curious listeners to meet WORT volunteers and get a better sense of what WORT is all about. The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Dane County offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for those 55 and older. Volunteers can make a difference at the Henry Vilas Zoo, The River Food Pantry, Prospect Gardens, the Wisconsin Historical Museum and elsewhere. Phone 441-7891 for information.
