Learn how to communicate with a person experiencing the late stage of dementia at a free workshop this evening from 5:30 to 7 p.m at the Middleton Public Library, 7425 Hubbard Avenue. Decluttering your home? The Literacy Network is collecting used books to re-sell to raise funds to support its classes and tutors and provide textbooks for free adult programs that help raise literacy. Donated books can be dropped off at the Literacy Network office, 701 Dane Street, preferably between 9 a.m and 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. Phone 244-3911 for guidelines on the type of materials that can be accepted.
