Free one-on-one coaching sessions for writing projects of any kind are available today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hawthorne Library, 2707 East Washington Street. Writing projects can include resumes and cover letters, school assignments, personal letters, applications, or any other kind of writing. Basic computer help, such as setting up email accounts, searching for jobs online, or filling out online job applications, is also available. Call 246-4548 to make a 60-minute appointment.
A free class on Smart Phone basics will be offered tomorrow, December 1st, from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street. This class will focus on android phones, such as Samsung, LG and Motorola. Learn how to take advantage of the technology in your phone. Plenty of time for questions. Bring your phone. This class will have a maximum of 10 participants, so register today by calling 266-6581.
Community Action Coalition For South Central Wisconsin works to develop economic and social capacities of individuals, families and communities to reduce poverty in Dane, Jefferson and Waukesha Counties. The Insurgent Radio Kiosk is a four minute pre-recorded segment featuring a commentary and a calendar of daily events.
