An educational health fair on diabetes, immunizations, heart health, organ donation and prescription medication use will be offered today from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Lakeview Library, 2845 North Sherman Avenue. Hosted by UW pharmacy students, the health fair is free to all. For information, phone 246-4547.
Learn to stargaze tonight from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Olbrich Park Winter Shelter, 201 Garrison Street. Staff from the UW Space Place will lead this free session beginning after sunset with a short talk and slide show about astronomy. You’ll then have the opportunity to view astronomical objects through a telescope. All ages welcome. Please pre-register by calling 266-4711.
Need help with basic computer or internet skills? Looking for assistance downloading library e-books and audiobooks? Free one-on-one computer assistance sessions will be offered on Tuesday, October 2nd, from 11:15 to noon at the Hawthorne Library, 2707 East Washington. Phone 246-4548 to make an appointment.

Events must be low cost or non-profit and of interest to people in the WORT listening area and which other media might not highlight.
