Join in a rally today to tell Congress that the U.S. mail is not for sale! The event will run from noon to 4 p.m., at Madison’s Main Post Office, 3902 Milwaukee Street. The Madison rally is being held in coordination with nationwide protests today in each congressional district, led by all 4 postal unions, to tell congressional representatives they should say “no” to privatizing the Postal Service. All are invited to celebrate Indigenous Peoples’ Day this evening at the First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive. Enjoy a community dinner starting at 5:30 p.m followed by the world premiere screening of the film “ The Eagle and The Condor-From Standing Rock With Love”, at 7 p.m. and discussion at 8 p.m. The event is free and welcoming to all. Learn how to grow healthy garden plants at a free presentation by Dr. Brian Huddleston, UW’s Director of the Plant Disease Diagnostic Clinic, tonight from 6 to 8 p.m at the Alicia Ashman Library, 733 North High Point Road.
