New York Times investigative reporter Eric Lipton will offer a free, public presentation on “ The Hot Zone: A Look at the Environmental Protection Agency in the Era of Trump”, today from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the UW Discovery Building, 330 North Orchard Street. October is Dyslexia Awareness Month. Join staff, students, and families from Madison’s Children’s Dyslexia Center to learn about dyslexia on Wednesday, October 10th from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Madison’s Central Library, 201 West Mifflin Street. A light dinner will be served before screening a short film and panel discussion highlighting the local resources available to help those who struggle to read printed words.
