In a powerful interview with WORT News, LaDonna Brave Bull of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe spoke with Producer Alejandro Alonso Galva and Madison activist Jessie Brown about fears of death and the dangers of the pipeline. LaDonna volunteered her land to start the protest camps on April 1st. Four camps full of demonstrators have sprung up in Standing Rock, North Dakota against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline. Local tribal leaders say the pipeline threatens the local water supply and nearby scared burial grounds. WORT spoke with LaDonna after her return from the United Nations to the Sacred Stone Campgrounds.
