Today on the show, we learn about The Lands We Share traveling exhibit, which highlights six diverse family and community farming projects in Wisconsin: Allenville Farms, Oneida Nation Farms, Dettmann Dairy Farms, Vang C&C Farm, Metcalfe Park Community Gardens, and Walker Square Farmers Market. Our guests are Stephanie Hoff, a student who worked on the project, and James Levy, director of the public history program at UW–Whitewater and founder of the Wisconsin Farms Oral History Project.
The Lands We Share is an oral history project that includes a traveling exhibition about farming, land, ethnic culture, and shared history in Wisconsin. It is currently on display at the Madison Public Library’s main branch (201 W. Mifflin St.) until Saturday, May 18. The final gala will be held at the library on Thursday, May 16.
