In recent days you may have seen one of several posts on social media asking you to not go shopping from April 1st to April 3rd. The reasoning for this, the posts claim, is that benefits for the Women, Infants, and Children program are distributed on the 1st.
But, others have pushed back against this information, and say a rush of shoppers on the 4th would overwhelm grocers.
