UPDATE: Listen to the special broadcast, here.
WORT will carry live coverage of the second and final presidential debate on Thursday, October 22, from 8 to 10:30 pm Central Time.
From 8-9:30 pm, listen to President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden duke it out live from Belmont University, a private Christian university in Nashville, Tennessee.
Then, from 9:30-10:30 pm, stay tuned in for a roundtable of expert analysis from our partners at Pacifica Network. And stay tuned at 10:30 pm for a half-hour of music from Psychoacoustics – our thanks to the hosts for lending their time.
About the debate

The announced topics up for debate are the coronavirus, race, climate change, national security, US families, and leadership.
The Commission on Presidential Debate has opted for one important change since the first debate: to mute candidates’ mics for portions of the debate. Candidates will have two minutes of uninterrupted speaking time at the beginning of every segment.
Kristen Welker, NBC News White House correspondent and “Weekend Today” co-anchor, will moderate.
About the broadcast

The live broadcast will be carried from Pacifica Radio Network, and hosted by activist, author, and radio host Margaret Prescod.
Prescod is the host and producer of “Sojurner Truth,” a drive-time public affairs program on Pacifica Radio KPFK in Los Angeles and syndicated across the nation.
She’s the founder of the Black Coalition Fighting Black Serial Murders, started in South LA in the mid-80s in response to the serial murders in Black women. She’s the author of Black Women: Bringing It All Back Home (Falling Wall Press, 1980), a title that explores the struggle of immigration.
Prescod will be joined by special guest Dr. Gabriel Buelna, a community activist and organizer and professor of history and politics at California State University Northridge.
