Today guest host Bert Zipperer talks with Donna Vukelich-Selva and Dean Tim Slekar from Edgewood College and Percy Brown Jr. to discuss education in the state.
Dr. Donna Vukelich-Selva has been an associate professor at Edgewood College since 2008 and serves on the Center for Multicultural Education advisory board. Before Edgewood, she taught at a K-12 bilingual school in Nicaragua, where she also founded and ran a study abroad program for US college students.
Dr. Tim Slekar is the Dean of the School of Education at Edgewood, and is also the host of BustED Pencils, a one-hour talk show on public education. He is one of the founding members of United Opt Out National, and has spoken on MSNBC, CNN and Fox News as an education policy analyst.
Percy Brown is the Director of Equity and Student Achievement at the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District.
