Jamala Rogers is an activist and writer. In addition to her latest book, she is also the author of “The Best of the Way I See It”, a compilation of her political writings over the last twenty years. She is a featured columnist for the award-winning St. Louis American newspaper, St. Louis’ largest black weekly and is on the editorial boards of BlackCommentator.com and The Black Scholar. Rogers was an Alston-Bannerman fellow and is the 2017 Activist-in-Resident at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
She will be speaking at Pyle Center this Saturday, November 7th.
