A Madison patrolman is in the hospital after being beaten while breaking up a fight. Five men were convicted. An unmarked police car during a car chase killed a boy after running a red light. During a robbery, an off-duty police officer was saved by his badge-tucked in his coat pocket when he was shot at. The police chief announced the return of two-man patrol cars. A jealous man was shot by police immediately after killing his ex-girlfriend and her presumed boyfriend. A man made threatening calls to his ex-wife, and was spotted looking through her windows with a rifle. He shot her and another man while they talked in a car. During the resulting chase, he is shot and killed. Virginia Lubcke (discussed in a previous episode) is found guilty of trying to hire two people to kill her husband, and is sentenced to three years in jail. Lastly, a teacher is taken into custody and later released on 1000$ bail for indecent behavior with a ten year old boy in the school’s washroom.
